We put you on tape and email the final, edited .mov version to you. This package includes use of HD video camera, studio rental, and professional sound and lighting. Same as above, but you read with and are coached by a member of our faculty as well. |
What kind of material should you prepare for Triage? It is best if you bring in sides either from a past audition that didn't go as well as you hoped or from an upcoming project or audition. You are also free to bring in material from past classes, seminars, performances or shoots - but the material should in no event be cold. It is not necessary to be off-book – you should simply be as familiar with the material as you would be for a first audition. You won't be able to determine if Lesly can assist you and she won't be able to establish the status of your work if you are cold-reading. A two or three page scene from a television show or a not-terribly-well-known film is preferable. Monologues and material from plays tends to be somewhat overdone and therefore can be less effective. |
